 Moodley's Limited has a brewster!

We're delighted to introduce Jemima Willard as Moodley's full time brewster. Jemima joined the Moodley's team in early August and now runs the operation at Bowen's Farm, Penshurst, TN11 8AJ. We are open from 9h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday. 

Jemima says, "I am enjoying learning a completely new and very varied skill at Moodley's. Like Yudhistra, I am keen to support locally-sourced produce. I enjoy being outdoors and I love the countryside, so the fact that we are a farm-based business is perfect for me. Outside work, my main interest is horses. I have my own and hunt and ride regularly. I also compete in equine events." 

Jemima at 19, is the youngest brewer in the country and one of the very few female brewers in the UK.  As a brewery we are able to offer a bespoke and personal service to our clients. Jemima and I will create a beer style specifically for you, using the malt, hops and yeast of your choice. Because we allow the beer long enough to ferment naturally, we do not need to use any animal based finings which makes any bottle of Moodley's suitable for vegans and vegetarians. We also have three styles of beer in stock at the moment.  Having Jemima on board allows Yudhistra to focus on developing new beers and take the company to it's next phase of development. "I have always been a big ale drinker, so when I was handed a glass of beer by a friend sitting in a beer garden, I thought nothing the wiser.  I took a sip and could just not believe the flavour and freshness, asked what I was drinking, got the answer: some new bottle beer they had in.  I enjoyed the beer so much,, on the way out I had to find out what I had been drinking, it had in face been my first experience of a Moodley's beer.  I am pleased to say it was not my last and I still have a few to try, can't wait!"
