Made from an original 1869 handwritten ale recipe belonging to the Teubler family, Smockham Ale is a dark, sweet and luscious beer perfect for enjoying on a summer's afternoon. The Teublers, who still live in Tunbridge Wells owned Smockham Farm during 1800s and provided water to the Kelsey Brewery on St John's Road in Tunbridge Wells. Brewed with bran and treacle, this truly traditional ale has a sweet, honey taste and is best enjoyed at room temperature.

Made with Maris Otter barley (the finest English barley available in Yudhistra's opinion), Penshurst Pleasure is a delightful best bitter made with local Kentish hops. Golden in colour with a delicious malty taste, Penshurst Pleasure is a versatile beer which goes well with both hot and cold food, and is the perfect accompaniment to a Ploughman's or even a curry!

Chocolately, rich and smooth with a natural effervescence, Pantiles Porter is similar to stout but is lower in gravity which makes it a pleasant session beer to drink at any time of the day. Dark in colour, Pantiles Porter is made with a rich roasted malted barley, called chocolate malt and is the perfect accompaniment to food. Records of an ale known as Porter date back to the 18th century and was popular until the 1970s. However, since then it has been largely forgotten, despite its malty goodness!

Moodley's signature beer is a unique hybrid between a lager and a bitter, made with lager malt but fermented with English ale yeast. Pale in colour, Toad Rock Bitter has the taste benefits of a lager, without the harsh gassiness often associated with the drink. Loved by men and women alike, Toad Rock Bitter is made with Kentish hops which give it a clean and refreshing taste. Best drunk cold.
